Mr. Jason Lieberman was recognized by the Abington Township “Commissioner Drew Rothman, State Representative Rep. Ben Sanchez, and Congresswoman Madeleine Dean for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America,” according to a statement from Abington Township.

His Eagle Scout project, according to the local Boy Scout Troop 72, included marking out garden plots for a community garden and laying mulch on walkways.

The Eagle Scout ceremony for Mr. Lieberman within the Boy Scouts will take place today at 2:00 PM.

Mr. Lieberman is one of 218 Eagle Scout leaders developed through the local Boy Scout Troop 72 in Abington since 1940, according to the local Boy Scouts.
