Omar “Big O” Cruickshank, owner and head instructor of Crush Crew Jiu-jitsu in Flourtown, will be holding a free self-defense seminar for teenage girls from 6:30pm to 8:00pm on Friday, November 3 at A-Game Fitness & Performance LLC, 825 Bethlehem Pike in Flourtown.

So far, Crush Crew has offered four sessions, including a class in August in Glenside and another in September in Abington.

The series is Cruickshank’s response to the attempted kidnapping at the Willow Grove Park Mall on July 12, in which 44-year-old Khalil Evans, who was later arrested and charged, tried to abduct a 14-year-old girl.
