The first-ever Charity INK Fundraiser, which took place at Grace Presbyterian Church in Jenkintown (Abington Township) in October, raised $5,023 for the Jenkintown Food Cupboard (JFC).
The free community event offered $50–$75 flash tattoos and piercings, an art gallery, craft vendors, and a community dinner to raise funds to fight hunger across Montgomery County.
“The event raised an amazing amount of money that will directly help us purchase food and fill the critical gap created by the recent SNAP changes,” the JFC said in a post, noting that Josh Fesik of Tattoos by Fesik in Willow Grove (Upper Moreland Township) contributed $2,413.
