Jenkintown Food Cupboard to host ‘Charity INK’ fundraiser on Oct. 17

The Jenkintown Food Cupboard (JFC) will host its first-ever “Charity INK” at Grace Presbyterian Church, located at 444 Old York Road in Jenkintown (Abington Township), from 4:30pm – 9:30pm on Friday, October 17.

The free community event will offer $50–$75 flash tattoos and piercings, an art gallery, craft vendors, and a community dinner to raise funds to fight hunger across Montgomery County.

The fundraiser is a collaboration between JFC and Josh Fesik of Tattoos by Fesik in Willow Grove (Upper Moreland Township), who will lead a team of local tattoo artists. Every dollar raised through tattoos and piercings goes directly to feeding local families.

“We wanted to bring something bold and creative to the community — something that shows giving back can look a little different,” said Lino Ellis, Executive Director of the Jenkintown Food Cupboard. “Art and tattoos have always been about expression and identity. This event channels that same energy into supporting our neighbors.”
