Capricorn Bookstore, 605 West Avenue, Jenkintown, will host a Grand Opening celebration this Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm.

Capricorn Bookstore will be offering 20% off their new logo merchandise, t-shirts and totes. The store’s inventory has expanded as of late, and is bringing in more book titles as well as art pens, ink, sketchbooks, games and local art. ⁠

The day includes cookies from Bredenbecks in Chestnut Hill and coffee from White Horse Coffee Roasters to enjoy as you browse. Glenside-based DJ Vinyl Chickie will be playing an all-vinyl “funky bookstore vibes” set from 1:00-4:00pm.

The bookstore’s soft opening took place in November to accommodate holiday shoppers.
