The Cheltenham Township Board of Commissioners recognized retiring Ward 3 Commissioner Brad Pransky during its legislative meeting on Wednesday, December 20.
Pransky is stepping down after serving two terms as Township commissioner. He was elected in 2015 and reelected in 2019.
From his Commissioner biography:
Mr. Pransky was raised in Cheltenham Township, graduated from Cheltenham High School and went on to graduate from Temple University. Since 1983, he has been co-founder and CEO of DBIS, Inc., and Interactive Intelligence, Inc., which focus on the computer and technology industries. He is also the Editor of Int2View.com an online webzine which provides product reviews, information and perspectives on the technology industry. Mr. Pransky is the Managing Partner supervising Real Estate Holdings for David L. Pransky & Sons.
Commissioner Mitch Zygmund-Felt presented a Resolution detailing Commissioner Pransky’s commitment to the Township.
During his tenure, Commissioner Pransky was involved in addressing major Township initiatives, including zoning revisions, economic development, stormwater management, the early stages of the Township’s Comprehensive Facility Analysis, and more.
Pransky shared a heartfelt message of thanks to his Board colleagues, Township staff, and his wife, Lee.


At the recommendation of Commissioner Pransky, the Board awarded Community Service Awards to Ms. Edith “Edie” Cerebi and Ms. Geraldine “Gerry” Brown for their ongoing commitment to the betterment of the Township through their leadership of the Cheltenham Chamber of Citizens/One Cheltenham organization and LaMott Citizens United group, respectively.
