Art of MBB in Jenkintown is changing locations and hosting a creative workshop sale on Saturday, owner to become an Explorer

Art of MBB, a multimedia creative space and art gallery in Jenkintown, is moving from 315 York Road to a not-yet-determined physical location in the borough.

“We’re downsizing from the space that we have. We’re looking to solidify a new location within the next week or two,” owner Brian Bowens said.

The move comes with a celebration on Saturday, May 18, starting at 3:00pm. Art of MBB will be hosting a creative workshop sale which will offer everything from hand painted sneakers and other items that aren’t listed on their website to fine arts equipment.

Bowens, now a father, has accepted a Tech Professional in Residence position at La Salle College High School in Wyndmoor. He’ll be teaching Advanced Digital Design starting in August.

“I’ve already been mentoring and I’ve enjoyed the public speaking engagements I’ve had with youth. This is part of my journey as a freelance artist,” he said. “I want to help our younger generations make their moves. I want to pass on my experience and knowledge.”
