For the second consecutive year and fourth time in the last seven seasons, the Arcadia University baseball team has been crowned conference champions.

The Knights captured the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Championship after defeating No. 2 Misericordia University in game three by a 3-2 final after dropping the second game of the series 6-1 on Saturday. Carson Denham was named Tournament Most Valuable Player after his performance in game one.

In related news, senior Alex Madera was named the MAC Freedom Player of the Year for the second consecutive season and to the First team for the third consecutive year as he leads the conference with 77 hits and four triples. He is second in the conference in batting average (.461), runs scored (47) and RBI’s (50).

The Knights placed seven on the All-MAC Freedom Teams.
