Josh Singer, a graduate of Upper Dublin High School, is working on a forthcoming Netflix biopic about the life of Leonard Bernstein, titled Maestro and directed by Abington native Bradley Cooper.

Singer is also the screenwriter for a new Apple TV+ drama The Last Thing He Told Me, which premiered yesterday. Singer called the series the most personal and important project he’s ever done.

Singer wrote The West Wing, The Post, Spotlight, and First Man and attended Sandy Run Middle School in Dresher before transferring to Upper Dublin High School.

He graduated magna cum laude from Yale and studied at Harvard Law and Business Schools.
