Tyree Darnell Lawson, 42, from Philadelphia, has been charged with robbery, assault and related charges connected to a ‘Road Rage’ incident that occurred on February 10, 2022 at 8:09 AM, in the parking lot of the Fox Pavilion in the Jenkintown section of Abington Township.

The female victim of the crimes turned into the parking lot from Old York Rd. after the male suspect began tailgating her. The male suspect then blocked her path of travel with his car, got out of his car and approached the victim’s vehicle. After the victim lowered her window, the male suspect punched the female victim in the face, grabbed her cell phone from her lap and smashed it on the ground. He then fled the scene.

After an investigation was conducted, detectives were able to identify the suspect, and on February 22, 2022, the suspect turned himself into police after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The suspect was arraigned by a Montgomery County District Judge, and was released on unsecured bail pending a future court appearance.
