Update: Whyte has been located and is safe as of 4:50pm on Monday.

The Abington Township Police Department has reported Edward Whyte, 16, as a missing juvenile.

According to officials, Whyte walked out of Abington Senior High School around 11:00am on Monday, February 26.

He left his cell phone and backpack at the school and no one has had contact with him since, police said. He has been entered into NCIC as a missing person.

Whyte is described as 5’8″, 127 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a white t-shirt, and black pants.
