The Abington Township Police Department posted a warning today regarding driveway paving scams in the area.

“These individuals are operating without permits and overcharging for work. In many cases, the suspects will approach homeowners directly and solicit the work, often claiming they have leftover materials or can offer a discounted price for immediate service,” the post said.

Police recommend obtainning multiple quotes from reputable contractors and thoroughly verifying their credentials before residents agree to any work.
