Students, teachers, and administrators of the Abington School District joined with representatives of Abington Township as well as people from throughout the community to celebrate The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

“Thank you to Abington Township for organizing a meaningful memorial service honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.,” read a statement from the Abington School District.  “Dr. Jeffrey Fecher [Superintendent of the Abington School District] provided an opening welcome, and students from Overlook Elementary School, Rydal Elementary School, and Abington Junior High participated in tributes.”
