The Hatboro Police Department announced today the arrest of Thomas Coleman, 42, for physically assaulting a child at the Hatboro KinderCare (378 S Warminster Road) on March 25.

According to the report, Coleman was an employee at the school. Additional details were not provided.

A warrant for his arrest was issued and he was subsequently taken into custody by Hatboro police. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for a later date, police said. 

Coleman’s charges are below:

• (1 COUNT) (18) 4304 (A)(1) ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A CHILD (F3)
• (1 COUNT) (18) 2701 (A)(1) SIMPLE ASSAULT
