Calvin Grasso, a local third-grade student and the founder of Make Every Kid Happy Toy Drive, was recently featured by 6ABC for his efforts to give toys to other kids who may not get them during the holidays.
Now in its third year, Calvin and his mother, Madeleine, have partnered with the Upper Moreland Township Police Department to collect toys. Sponsors include Artware Jewelry, 5 Below, and Toys for Tots.
The toy drive takes place at various shops in Montgomery County in November and December. Upcoming dates include:
- Sunday, December 3
- Saturday, December 9
- Sunday, December 10

To learn more about the Make Every Kid Happy Toy Drive or to make a donation, you can contact the Upper Moreland Township Police Department on a non-emergency line or through their website.
From Madeleine’s Facebook post:
If you are a business and would like to host a collection session in front of your storefront or work in an office and would like to host a box for a week – we are happy to coordinate! DM me for details:)
If you are, or know of, a family in need this holiday season – please either reach out to the Upper Moreland Police Department and mention this toy drive or DM me. We celebrate and support ANY AND ALL families, holidays, religions and needs!
