The Lower Moreland Police Department announced this morning that Huntingdon Pike has been closed at Carriage Lane due to a fallen tree and electrical wires blocking the roadway.

A detour begins on Huntingdon Pike at Spur Road and at Buck Road, police said.

The Department encourages drivers to avoid the area and find alternative routes until the roadway has been cleared.
