The Glenside Saint Patrick’s Day Association has released more details regarding the second annual Glenside St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival on Saturday, March 21.
According to their post, this year’s parade will feature more than 60 participants, and the festival lineup includes 14 musical acts across four stages with “many very popular local Irish musicians headlining the stages.” Vendors and food trucks will also be in attendance.
New this year, an open Irish Trad session led by John McGillian and Eamon Kelly will be held from 9:00am – 11:00am at Glenside Memorial Hall (185 S Keswick Avenue, Cheltenham Township). All session musicians are welcome.
Organizers announced last week that Frances and Bill Donahue were named the parade’s dual Grand Marshals.
A “Countdown to the Parade Fundraiser” will be held on Friday, February 27 from 7:00pm – 11:00pm at the Knights of Columbus in Glenside. More details here.
