A recent five-person robbery of a firearms store, Founding Fathers Outfitters in Springfield Township, on September 24 at around 4:00am has attracted federal attention, according to a CBS News report.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms, and Tobacco (ATF) Philadelphia office is partnering with the National Shooting Sports Foundation in offering a $15,000 reward for anyone who is able to provide pertinent information to law enforcement.

According to the gun shop, a few firearms were stolen before officers arrived. The store is located at 9280 Ridge Pike in the Lafayette Hill section of Springfield Township.

The incident is being investigated by the ATF, the Springfield Township Police Department and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.
