100 York apartments undergo $3M renovation project

Jenkintown’s 100 York apartments have received a $3 million investment for upgrades and renovations.

The improvements are being completed by the New Jersey-based AJH Company, which owns and operates 100 York.

“We transformed 100 York into a beautiful, airy, and open welcoming space,” Temima Lindow, Principal Designer at AJH Co, said.

Temima’s renovative vision focused on a modern yet welcoming experience for residents by recreating the experience of coming home.

“I kept asking myself, What does it feel like when I go home? That’s the feeling I wanted to recreate here,” she said.

The apartment’s common areas have been completely overhauled with new lighting across the property, remodeled hallways with new carpet, sconces, wall accents, and flooring, as well as new amenities, including a ping pong, pool table, yoga room, movie theater, and clubroom.

Renovations include extensive repairs and upgrades to both the HVAC system and elevators.

“Upon entering 100 York during my most recent visit, I instinctively knew we had succeeded in creating the space I had envisioned, I really felt that ‘welcome home feeling’ that everyone deserves to feel,” Temima said. “The new 100 York is elevated, bright, and warm. It’s a place where you want to bring your family home at the end of the day.”

Future plans include the remodeling of all 100 York buildings and the exterior of the main entrance.
