Wild Rose Floral by Hana is opening a storefront in Elkins Park sometime after Labor Day.
The company offers floral arrangements for weddings and other events and is a subsidiary of Hana Floral Design, a Philadelphia-based husband-and-wife floral design business.
They will take over the former VLC Candles space (7900 High School Road, Cheltenham Township), which permanently closed in the spring. You may have seen Hana Floral Design at Creekside Market and Tap’s pop-up markets in the past.
“We started our operation in 2021 at Creekside. That was the beginning of everything for us. We’ve been very busy in Philadelphia lately, and our partner let us know that the space had opened up for lease,” co-owner Tanaka Takahide told Glenside Local. “We did a soft launch with family and friends on Saturday, and we’re going to announce our hours soon. We have a few more things to do before we can launch everything.”

“We wanted to do something in High School Park. It’s a beautiful, fun community,” he said.
The company offers delivery services to the following locations: Abington, Ambler, Bala Cynwyd, Bryn Athyn, Cheltenham, Dresher, Elkins Park, Flourtown, Fort Washington, Glenside, Gwynedd Valley, Hatboro, Horsham, Huntingdon Valley, Jenkintown, Lansdowne, Merion Station, Narberth, Oreland, Philadelphia, Southampton, Spring House, Upper Darby, Willow Grove, Wyncote, and Wynnewood.
