OhSooCares, a mobile summer camp based in Abington, is hosting a free community flea market on Saturday, October 3 from 10:00am – 4:00pm at The Legacy Center (1125 Easton Road).

The event intends to give small businesses, entrepreneurs, and members of the community an opportunity to sell their products, promote their businesses, and advertise their services. Featured will be businesses, vendors, giveaways, food, and shopping.

In June, the organization’s van broke down beyond repair. Community members launched a GoFundMe campaign to help purchase a reliable replacement, which raised $10,501 at the time of this writing.

“I truly appreciate the community for standing with me and showing their support to help me,” Keesha Jefferson, a Willow Grove native, 2005 graduate of Abington Senior High School, and owner/founder of OhSooCares, said. “The opportunity to pour back into my community is always a blessing for me. This event is about more than selling products. It is about creating a space where we can support one another, celebrate entrepreneurship, and remind our community that we can grow when we pour into each other.”
