Vinyl Chickie in Glenside has released the inventory of the record collection which belonged to Pierre Robert, the popular 93.3 WMMR disc jockey and on-air personality who passed away in October.
Store owner Lisa Schaffer announced earlier this month that she’ll be selling the entire collection on Saturday, April 18. Included in the collection are over 350 vinyl records, two box sets, and over 250 CDs.
In an interview with Philadelphia Magazine, Schaffer said she plans to donate a portion of the proceeds “back to the estate and they are going to donate it to a charity favored by Pierre.”

The full list of LPs and CDs can be found here. From Vinyl Chickie’s website:
Making good decisions… After buying the collection, and sitting with it for weeks, I decided I was going to pass it on to his fans. This took a lot of time getting it ready for you. I reached out to everyone that needed to know this was happening, which was also strategic and thoughtful. I didn’t want this to surprise anyone close to Pierre. I volunteered by time and photographed the Pierre tribute show and gave the photos to his family and close friends. I had conversations with some of the DJs that I knew how to get in touch with, and after 2 failed attempts at connecting with the behind the scenes folks at the station, I showed up at the WMMR Cardboard Classic, so I could connect to them in person. It worked!
The sales event, dubbed “Record Shoppe Day”, begins at 10:00am on Saturday and will include free coffee from Rival Brothers Coffee, breakfast dumplings courtesy of Humpty’s Dumplings in Glenside, and breakfast cocktails courtesy of The Keep Easy in Jenkintown.
