TriMed HealthCare, Willow Grove, ordered to give $4M in employee backpay

TriMed HealthCare, a Willow Grove home care agency, has been ordered to cough up $4M for failing to pay overtime to 433 of its workers.

A federal court found that TriMed Healthcare underpaid its employees between April 2016 and September 2019. Some workers, many of whom were nurses, made as little as $7.25 an hour, the U.S. Department of Labor said.

TriMed has patients in multiple neighboring counties, and was ordered to pay $14.9M in back wages by the Department of Labor’s lawsuits in 2022.
