A graduate of Yale University and Yale Law School, he previously spent eight years at the EPA as a top air advisor who helped craft the Clean Power Plan, as well as numerous other air regulations.

Since January 2021, Goffman has been leading the EPA’s Office of Air and Radiation on an acting basis.

At Cheltenham High, he was ranked first in his class, Editor of “The Cheltonian,” and a member of the Panther debating team.

Mackrey teaches business education at Olympic Heights High and previously coached girls’ basketball at Park Vista High in Lake Worth.

At Cheltenham High, he was a three-year varsity starter for Coach Steve Daley and an All-Suburban One selection before matriculating at Kutztown University where he was also a three-year starter, 1,000-point scorer, and an All-Conference Player.
