The state and Montgomery County have issued updated guidelines for the reopening of schools. The state’s guidelines provide public health standards to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Ares covered are social distancing, face coverings, hand hygiene, and cleaning and disinfecting in Pre-K to 12 school settings.

Montgomery County’s guidance is intended to be utilized by districts to support the development of a Health and Safety Plan required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
