Starbucks developer headed to Jenkintown’s Zoning Hearing Board on October 26

Jenkins Court Realty Co, LP will appear before Jenkintown Borough’s Zoning Hearing Board on Thursday, October 26 regarding its plans for a Starbucks at the parking lot at 610 York Road.

The company is requesting a variance so that its drive-thru windows won’t face a public street.

“They’re looking for zoning relief for one item. They’re going for a Conditional Use Hearing, and they’ll come back before Council in October or November,” Borough manager George Locke said. “Our traffic engineers reviewed their proposal so now it’s back in their court.”
