The Abington Township Police Department announced this evening that several roadways are closed due to trees and wires in the roadway as a result of the high winds:

• Moredon Road is shut down between 19 Moredon Road and Pine Road (7:17pm)
• Meadowbrook and Graham road intersection is shut down (7:34pm)
• Woodland Road between Fitzwatertown and Pershing roads is closed (8:16 pm)

Police ask that drivers avoid these areas for the time being.
