Update: Abington police announced that the roadway is now open.

The Abington Township Police Department announced at approximately 1:50pm today that a segment of York Road between the Fairway and Canterbury Road is closed due to an overturned vehicle.

No serious injuries have been reported and crews expect the closure to last at least an hour.

Police encourage area residents to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
