The Downtown Glenside Foundation has decided to cancel the Howl O’Ween scheduled for Saturday, October 21, due to the weekend forecast.

A message from the DGF:

This was not an easy decision but, the Downtown Glenside Foundation has decided to cancel Howl O’Ween this Saturday, October 21. The weather forecast is still uncertain so we opted for safe rather than sorry. We thank all of our partners, sponsors, vendors, local businesses, performers, food purveyors, and supporters. Believe us, disappointing pets and their humans is not ever on the top of our to-do list. But, we are currently planning a Holiday Celebration of Downtown Glenside on Small Business Saturday, November 25th. Adults, kids, and pets will immediately be in the holiday spirit when you spend the day in Downtown Glenside on 11/25. Keep checking back for more details but, here’s a tip we can share now – consider getting some antlers, a Santa hat, and/or an ugly sweater for your pet , they’re gonna need it! Actually, your whole family might!
