The Rite Aid at 1321 Easton Road in Abington may soon become an arcade.
According to the township’s Zoning Hearing Board agenda from June 17, Christian Abraham and Edward Delaney have requested a Special Exception pursuant to Ordinance §1005 to allow a G-1 Amusement Arcade at the property.
The Rite Aid was recently included among a list of 40 Pennsylvania closures as part of its ongoing bankruptcy proceedings.
The request will be discussed again during the Zoning Hearing Board’s Tuesday, July 15 meeting. The agenda is here.
We will be in touch as we learn more.
