Roslyn, Weldon fire companies swear in new Chiefs, honor former leaders

Roslyn and Weldon fire companies recently took time to swear in the new and honor the old.

The Roslyn Fire Company recognized former Chief Mike Ratka for his years of service and swore in current Chief Matt Orzechowski.

Last night we had the opportunity to gather with some members from all 5 Township Companies to recognize some outgoing Past Chiefs and the swearing in of their Replacements.

Past Roslyn Fire Company Chief Mike Ratka was recognized for his years of service as Fire Chief. Thank you Chief Ratka for continuing to move the Fire Company forward in a positive and progressive direction.

We also witnessed the swearing in of current Fire Chief Matt Orzechowski.

On Friday, the Abington Township Fire Department recently honored the retirement of former Weldon Fire Chief Bud Gerhard and swore in Weldon Chief Keith Maslin.

The ATFD hosted a member appreciation night Friday June 16th at the North Penn VFW. The event included a swearing in of Weldon Fire Chief, Keith Maslin and honoring the retirement of former Weldon Fire Chief, Bud Gerhard.
