Roslyn Fire Co. Honors One of Its Own Outside Hospital Room

Howard Williams

The Roslyn Fire Company paid a very special tribute to retired firefighter Howard Williams on Memorial Day. The company drove its trucks up to the window outside his hospital room while his daughter shot a video of the event.

Mr. Williams served with the company for 42 years.

In a separate Facebook post, the company wrote:

Roslyn Fire Department honored our father today with his own private Memorial Day Parade. Dad is a member of the Roslyn Fire Company for 42 years. As well he is a retired officer from the United States Navy! Thank you Roslyn, in dad’s words THAT WAS AMAZING ❤️??God Bless Howard Williams
