Roslyn Boys & Girls Club named recipient of CampusWorks’ Do-Good Grant

CampusWorks, a higher education consultant organization, has named the Roslyn Boys and Girls Club a 2023 Do-Good Grant recipient.

The CampusWorks employee who nominated this organization said, “Many of our members who have grown up in the club are now giving back their time and talent in numerous ways. They credit Roslyn Boys and Girls Club with literally keeping their paths straight and empowering them to stay in school and go on to higher education. Roslyn Boys and Girls Club builds character and promotes a giving back philosophy which is so important for the youth of today.”

The Abington-based club offers soccer, baseball, basketball, and softball sports programs and runs summer camps for soccer, baseball, and chess, as well as annual events such as the Easter Egg Hunt and Santa Night.

The club offers college scholarships through the Joseph Marsden Scholarship Fund and assists families by paying bills, supplying meals, or whatever else is needed to support the family.

2023 marks the 70th anniversary of the club. For more information about the Roslyn Boys and Girls Club, you can click here.
