ABINGTON

PECO will close Susquehanna Road weekdays between Mill Road and Dixon Lane in Abington starting Wednesday, August 15, through early October, weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for gas main work, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced PennDOT on 7/31.

During the weekday closure, Susquehanna Road drivers will be detoured over Mill Road and Valley Road. Local road access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area, because there will be delays.  The schedule is weather dependent.

WYNCOTE

Shoppers Lane in Wynote ( Cheltenham Square) will be closed this Friday, August 3 due to paving work. It closes at 7:30 and should be reopened in the afternoon. Expect delays.
