Rep. Steve’s office tossed this event over our digital transom. This is a great opportunity to clean your closets and attics of your old DVD players and VCRs and other vestigial technology.
From 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 4, Abington Friends School (575 Washington Lane, Jenkintown, PA 19046) is hosting its annual EcoFest, complete with electronics recycling, donation drives, and a balm and bug repellant workshop, as well as interactive and informational activities.
All events are free and open to the public and will be held rain or shine. Volunteers will be available to unload items from your car.

Electronics will be recycled in accordance with EPA regulations by 611 Metals Recycling.
NOTE: No TVs will be accepted. CRT monitors will be accepted for a $20 fee.
