Cheltenham native and rapper/comedian Dave Burd (aka Lil Dicky) is in talks to sell an original animated feature pitch to DreamWorks Animation, The Hollywood Reporter said.

No working title or plot details have been revealed for the project as yet.

In September, Burd tied the knot. He had previously announced his engagement on Facebook with a post captioned, “I got engaged to the love of my life!”. Another post from early October 2025 also referred to the wedding, stating he had “gotten more married” that summer. 

In July, People.com reported that Burd would star in a remix of The Outhere Brothers’ 1994 hit “Boom Boom Boom” for Xfinity’s WiFi Is Booming campaign.

In 2024, he released a new album titled “PENITH”.
