The Abington Township Police Department is hosting a Holiday Toy Drive through Saturday, December 13.
All donations will go directly to local Abington families in need. Residents can donate a new, unwrapped toy at the following locations:
- Abington Township Building
- Lee’s Hoagies
- Penn State Abington
- Trio’s Elkins Park
- Abington Library
- Big Top Beverage
- O’Neill’s Market
- Giuliano’s Deli
Monetary donations can be sent through Venmo.
The department is also hosting Merry & Bright with the Blue & White on Saturday, December 6. Bring a toy and enjoy:
- A free take your own photo with Santa
- Hot chocolate & cookies
- TAC truck lit up for the holidays

Shop with a Cop
In related news, Abington police are hosting their annual Shop with a Cop on Wednesday, December 17.
Entries must be Abington residents between the ages of 7 and 14 to win a shopping spree (one entry per person). 10 winners will meet their Shop with a Cop partner on December 17 at 4:30pm in Macy’s at the Willow Grove Park Mall.
The winners will be announced on the Abington police Facebook page on Wednesday, December 10 at 12:00pm.
