The investigation into Rachel King’s death has helped Philadelphia detectives solve another murder.

Zakkee Stevens Alhakim faces murder charges in the death of King, and as detectives were investigating they found and used a digital trail of cell phone records to link Alhakim to the murder of James Farrell, 35, in Philadelphia four days earlier.

Alhakim was arrested for that crime on the same day police say he killed King, and has been charged with murder and related crimes in both shootings.
