Price increases at Jerzee’s Sports Bar & Pizzeria, effective immediately

When the costs of running a business go up, consumer prices are sure to follow. Jerzee’s Sports Bar & Pizzeria announced today that price hikes on behalf of beer distributors have forced the local pub to implement price increases of their own.

“The three big distributors, Muller, Penn, and Origlio are all raising their prices for the third time this year. Normally it’s once a year, and about 30 cents. This year it’s been anywhere from 50 cents to four dollars. It’s unfortunate, but that’s the state of the world right now,” Jerzee’s manager said. “Ukraine supplies 30 percent of the world’s wheat and barley, so it was only a matter of time.”

Economic conditions are likely to affect all local bars, takeout stores, and beer distributors in the area.
