Update: Abington officials announced at 8:45pm that power has been restored.

Abington School District superintendent Dr. Jeffrey Fecher announced that the district’s Administration Building is without power today, August 19, due to PECO’s work along Highland Avenue.

The memo said the district’s phone systems and servers, including Skyward and the Tech Support Portal, will be out of operation during the outage, which is anticipated to last approximately 12 hours.

Parents and students can contact staff members through email.

A follow-up communication from district officials will be sent when the issue has been resolved, Dr. Fecher said.
