Shannon and Liz of the former Pinto Restaurant in Glenside posted a heartfelt memo of appreciation and thanks for the support received from the community. The restaurant closed its doors for good on Saturday, February 11.
The post included pictures of Pinto’s staff and the “OG kids”, and a reminder that Cedar Point Bar and Kitchen in Fishtown, operated by Shannon and Liz, remains open for business.
From the post:
A little over a week has passed by since Pinto has closed their doors. The outpouring of support, encouragement, kind words, and well wishes has been both humbling and overwhelming. We appreciate those who touched base concerning our son. He’s doing great and we are thinking of ways to teach others about type 1.
We would love to thank each of you that came out on our final days and well as those of you who have come by in the last 3 years. We will miss chatting, cheers-ing, and feeding you.
We will keep this social media account open and running as well as the Upstairs at Pinto so y’all can be in the know of any upcoming events, pop ups, or fun things we have in the works.
In the meantime, you can find us at Cedar Point Bar and Kitchen in Fishtown. We are celebrating our 10 year anniversary there and have lots of celebrations planned.
Good Luck Glenside
