Cheltenham Township announced that PECO’s infrastructure upgrades at South Avenue, Glenside Avenue, and Washington Lane have been extended through July 2024 due to an unexpected additional stretch of work needed.

The project includes upgrading and installing new equipment, including poles and aerial wires, the township said.

The expected completion date was originally April.
