The Abington Township Police Department announced that a domestic shooting took place just before 9:00am on Friday, May 17, in the 2500 block of Pershing Avenue in Roslyn.

According to 6ABC, the shooter was an 80-year-old man and the victim was his 40-year-old son. Their names have not been released, though police said the son’s injuries are non-life-threatening.

The father has been taken into custody and the son has been hospitalized, police said.
