PECO improvement scheduled for Dec. 7 on segment of 309 in Springfield | PECO contractor to install cable along four roads in Cheltenham from mid-December – March

PennDOT announced that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction from 12:00am – 10:00am on Sunday, December 7 on Route 309 between Pennsylvania Avenue and Papermill Road in Springfield Township.

Officials said rolling stops will occur.

In related news, a PECO contractor will be installing new electrical conduit and underground cable along Pleasant Hill Road, Berwyn Road, Emory Lane, and Front Street in Cheltenham Township beginning in mid-December with expected completion mid-March 2026.
