O’Neill’s Food Market in Glenside will host its annual Watermelon Eating Contest on Saturday, July 27 beginning at 11:00am.

The contest is free to enter and gift certificates to Glenside businesses will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place winners in each age group. All participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt.

“ALL AGES are welcome to compete for bragging rights and prizes to some of your favorite places in Glenside!” O’Neill’s said in the Facebook event’s description.
