Old York Road Historical Society announces spring lecture lineup

The Old York Road Historical Society will resume their historical lectures series this spring in The John Barnes Room at Abington Friends Meeting, 520 Meetinghouse Road, Jenkintown.

The following presentations will be offered both in-person and on Zoom:

  • March 12: Tinicum & Eastwick: Environmental Justice and Racial Injustice inSouthwest Philadelphia by Will Caverly
  • April 9: Rogues’ Gallery: When Rich People Spend Good Money on Bad Art by ThomasKeels
  • May 14: Beaver College and Arcadia University by Ken Samen

Lectures are free and open to the public. Programs begin at 7:30pm. Refreshments will be
available at the conclusion of the lecture.
