Multiple crews extinguish housefire in Huntingdon Valley

The Huntingdon Valley Fire Company announced that crews were dispatched to Corn Crib Drive for a working house fire at 3:49pm on Saturday.

The homeowner was not injured, though the fire and heavy smoke extended throughout the home, officials said. The Lower Moreland Fire Marshal is investigating.

The following companies provided mutual aid: Bryn Athyn Fire Company, Feasterville Fire Company, Enterprise Fire Company of Hatboro, Upper Moreland Township Fire Department, Warminster Fire Department, and Abington Fire Company.

Second Alarmer’s Association and Rescue Squad of Montgomery County were called to the scene in place of Bryn Athyn 319 when a firefighter was possibly injured, officials said.
