The Huntingdon Valley Fire Company announced today that crews were dispatched at 6:51pm on Monday, January 6 for a house fire on Mettler Road.
The cause of the fire was a kitchen stove. No injuries were reported, officials said.
“Crews made a quick stop on the fire and checked for extension, ventilated smoke, and did overhaul,” the company said in a post.
Mutual assistance was provided by the Bryn Athyn and Southampton fire companies, the Upper Moreland Fire Department, Engine 19, Squad 19, Engine 19-1, Engine 19-1, Quint 35, Ladder 95, Bucks Engine 2, Bucks Ladder 90, 19 and 95 Fire Police, FM 25, and Second Alarmers for EMS.
