Mrs. Alice P. Schindler, a longtime resident of Willow Grove and a passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 20. She was 100 years old.

Mrs. Schindler served as president of the Willow Manor Women’s Club in Upper Moreland for several years and was a previous member of the Reformed Church of Willow Grove, where she was a member of the Ladies Group, Crafting and Knitting Club, Christmas Bazaar, and many more, her obituary said. She was also a participant of the Willow Manor Players Theatre Group in Glenside.

She was employed by Bell Telephone of PA and was promoted to Personnel Manager in Jenkintown before taking a career pause to raise her family, her obituary said. She later went back to work for Bell Telephone until her retirement.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 10:45 to 11:45 AM at Saint Alphonsus Church, 1571 Temple Drive, Maple Glen, PA 19002. The family will share Words of Remembrance at 11:45 AM. Alice’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 PM by Pastor Rev. Msgr. Brian P. Hennessy. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
