Mr. Robert J. Todd, a Hatboro resident, former superintendent of Hatboro Borough Authority Water Department, and life member of the Enterprise Fire Company, passed away on Saturday, February 21. He was 74.
Mr. Todd served on the Enterprise Fire Company’s Board of Directors and Relief Association and worked his way through the ranks of Lieutenant, Captain and Deputy Chief, his obituary said.
A Hatboro-Horsham High School graduate, Mr. Todd enlisted in the Army National Guard and was honorably discharged in January 1976. He was employed by Hatboro Borough Authority Water Department from 1974 – 1997 and served as superintendent from 1990 – 1997.
Aqua America purchased Hatboro Water in 1997, after which Mr. Todd worked as an estimator in the Bryn Mawr office until he retired in 2019, his obituary said.
Relatives and friends are invited to pay respect to the family on Thursday, April 2, after 11:00am at
Schneider Funeral, 431 N. York Rd, Hatboro and attend his Funeral Service at 12:00. His interment will
be private.
